What a NIL agent does for college athletes

An NIL Agent Workflow Example: From Introduction to Report

The example below is illustrative, not a customer testimonial or an earnings result. It shows how a representative can keep a small project organized without treating activity as success.

Start with an accurate introduction

In this fictional example, a representative introduces a runner to a local store. The log names one conversation owner and records that the store has asked for details. No one labels the introduction a deal or claims that the athlete has earned money from it.

Turn interest into a defined project

The athlete and store discuss one demonstration video, the timing and the proposed compensation. Open usage questions are recorded for review. The representative coordinates the discussion while the athlete remains involved in decisions and the relevant school process is followed.

Track the work through review

The project record identifies the current draft, feedback owner and next deadline. A request for a second video is marked as a scope change. The representative does not silently accept more work on the athlete’s behalf or treat a sent draft as an approved post.

Report what happened

After publication, the report lists the delivered work and available metrics with their sources. Clicks are not presented as purchases, and any payment still pending stays visible. The team uses the record to decide whether another project makes sense. No income or response rate is implied by this example.

Put the guidance into practice

Use the next worksheet for the decision you are actually making. Keep unanswered questions visible and confirm the requirements that apply to your situation.
