Pitch a small content project that solves a specific business problem. Explain what you will make, show a relevant sample and leave compensation and usage terms open for a written discussion.
A local-business pitch with a concrete scope
| Term | Specific question |
|---|---|
| Deliverables | How many finished files, in which formats? |
| Review | Who consolidates feedback, and how many revision rounds are included? |
| Usage | Organic repost only, paid advertising, or another use—and for how long? |
| Compensation | What is paid, when, and what happens if the scope changes? |
| Permissions | Who clears the location, people, artwork and music? |
| Disclosure | How will the promotional relationship be made clear in each format? |
A business may want content for its own channel rather than access to your audience. Distinguish those services. Do not price or promise a result based on invented follower engagement or guaranteed sales. If you use a sample metric, label the channel, date range and what it actually measures.
If there is no response, one brief follow-up after a reasonable interval is enough for a small proposal. Respect a decline. The point is to start a relevant conversation, not to send the same message repeatedly to every business nearby.
Before you finish
- Show a specific reason this business fits.
- Attach a public sample with no private account information.
- Agree on scope and intended usage before filming.
